The Northern Line station here was originally called ‘Oxford Street.’

The current station is being extensively rebuilt as part of the Crossrail Project.

The new building here, although functional and spacious; is bland, boring and void of any architectural merit. I doubt we’ll look back at this in the same way as some of Leslie Green’s work.
